Gordon served his apprenticeship in Alan Baptie, Goldsmith’s workshop at Pittendreich near Kinross in Scotland. After a number of years manufacturing jewellery he then joined the family business of A & R Murray in Fife continuing his trade.
Gordon set up his own business in 2003 supplying the trade and now in 2005 he has opened a retail shop in Kirriemuir supplying individuals and shops with commissions and repairs as well as pieces from his Scottish and Celtic inspired ranges.
Gordon works from his premises in lovely Kirriemuir, the gateway to the Angus Glens and the birth place of J M Barrie, author of Peter Pan. The Angus Glens are famed for their beauty, the abundance of wildlife and fantastic hill walking.
